Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIE VIALLET (nee ROUIRE) January 22, 1923 - April 24, 2015 Peacefully, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Lucie Viallet passed away on April 24, 2015 at the age of 92 years, at Action Marguerite (Foyer Valade) in St. Vital. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Jeannette Viallet-Girardin (Léonard), Denis (Linda) Viallet, Marie Viallet-Tomazic, André Viallet (Alice), Paul Viallet and Jean Viallet (Peggy); 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters: Solange Viallet, Thérèse Richard and Annette Robidoux; one brother Lucien Rouire and his wife Alexine, as well as one sister-in-law Soeur Rose-Marie Viallet, many nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur Rouire and Rosa (nee Mangin) Rouire, her husband Albert in 1980, her daughter Pauline in 1949, granddaughter Paula and grandson Denny Tomazic, sisters Angèle Picton and Angès Buisson, and brothers André and Adrien Rouire. Mom was raised in Bruxelles, then in Haywood where she met the love of her life, our dad Albert Viallet. We, the family would like to thank the staff at Foyer Valade for the wonderful, compassionate care they provided our mom. We also would like to thank her special friend, Soeur Cécile Delorme for bringing humour into Mom's heart. Mom laughed a lot in her company. We also would like to thank all those that visited her, it was greatly appreciated. Funeral mass will be held on May 1, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba. Viewing and recitation of the rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. The interment will take place following the Mass in the Parish Cemetery, with Father Léo Couture officiating. A light lunch will follow in the Parish hall. The Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Richard Fréchette, Maurice Fréchette, Jean-Michael Viallet, Albert Viallet, Adrian Viallet and Adam Viallet.
