JEAN GARIEPY (nee DOLENUCK) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Jean Ann Gariepy passed away on May 1, 2015. Jean is survived by her children Don (Denise), Sherrie (Peter), Kathy, and Kris; her grandchildren Leslie, Nick (Nicole), Michael, Nadia, Matthew, and her great-granddaughter Lilly. She is also survived by her mother Annie, sister Stella, and brother Henry as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Anthony. Jean was born in Tyndall, MB and moved to Winnipeg in 1952. She worked at the Starland for two years before getting married. She later worked at Kmart for about 30 years before retiring. She was a very kind and loving mom who enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family. Her perogies and cabbage rolls were enjoyed by everyone. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery in Tyndall, MB. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre MICU and GA4 for their compassion and care.
