REMEDIOS (REMY) TABLIZO TADOY Remedios "Remy" Tablizo Tadoy, 73, passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2015. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Family Prayers will start at 6:00 p.m. Prayers will be said by Reverend Father Ken Barcley at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, 353 St. Mary Avenue at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May, 15, 2015. With Rev. Fr. Geoffrey Angeles presiding. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Remy was born in Sta. Maria, Laguna, Philippines on November 22, 1941 and migrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on January 27, 2007. She graduated from Catanduanes College, Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Remy was married to Engr. Vicente A. Tadoy Sr. on May 28, 1961; they were married 54 years. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading magazines and newspaper, playing cards. Remy is survived by her children, Evelyn Regalado, Engr. Enrique "Ike" and his wife Dr. Solita, Edgardo, Nanette, Vicente Jr. and his wife Jenny, Golda and her husband Jaymar Tria; her grandchildren Rey Carlito, Rey Jacinto, Mika, Justine Booj, Angela, John Vincent and Raphael; her brothers Oscar Tablizo and his wife Marilou, Engdon Tablizo, her sister Linda and her husband Dr. Igmedio Teves; her nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends. Remy is preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto Tablizo and Rosalia Tablo; as well as her brothers Atty. Jose Tablizo and Ely Jacinto Tablizo; her niece Dana Marie Teves. Tadoy family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team and Home Care Staff who looked after her compassionately every single day since she was discharged home from Grace Hospital. Also, thank you so much to all health care staffs at Seven Oaks General Hospital and Grace Hospital.
