Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA LYNN FUNK April 9, 1959 - May 8, 2015 With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother, sister, niece and friend; Pat Funk, at the young age of 56. She leaves to mourn her cherished daughter Kayla and her son-in-law Todd Flockton, her Aunt Ethel, sister Lori and niece Taylor, as well as many cousins and friends. Pat was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth, father Gordon and sister Jackie. Pat grew up in Winnipeg and was an ICU Nurse at the Health Sciences Centre for many years. She also spent many years in her second career as a Nurse Adjudicator for the Government of Canada. Pat had a caring heart and would try to help all that needed it. Pat recently had the experience of her life walking her daughter down the aisle on Valentine's Day to be married to Todd. Many of her most treasured memories are of the times she spent with Kayla. The family would like to thank the Paramedics and Emergency Room staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the compassionate care given to Pat during her final hours. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. A private interment will be held on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of choice. "You left beautiful memories, And your love is still my guide. Though I cannot see you, You are always at my side."
