LOUIS BEDARD On Monday, May 18, 2015 surrounded by his earthly angels, Louis went to live in his forever home with our Heavenly God and Father. Cherishing his life are wife and soulmate Christy; treasured children Veronique (Daniel), Dan, and Ginette; mother Rose; sisters Cecile and Theresa (Bill); brother John (Madeline); nieces and nephews; and in-laws Evelyn and Alex Heuser. Louis was predeceased by his father Albert. Favourite times for Louis were those spent with his beloved family, and those spent with friends, on and off the golf course. Family wishes to express thanks to our faithful warriors who supported us in so many ways this last year; and to the numerous professionals at CancerCare Manitoba, and on the Palliative Care Ward at Riverview Health Centre. In keeping with Louis' wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street. Louis fought the fight, he finished the race. Throughout the trial, he kept the faith. No longer does he suffer, his body's been made whole. He's flying with the angels, and Heaven's now his home. (Libby L. Allen adapted) In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Louis may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. My heart goes out to you Christy, Veronique, Dan and Ginette at your loss. My memories of Louis are as clear and joyous as if it were just yesterday I was sharing conversations about the kids, hockey, home renovations, our neighborhood and our community – of which Louis was clearly a part of. I was honored to be a part of Louis life over the last 19 years during his time with Power & Mine. Louis was a kind gentle soul who took pride in his work and was always there to offer his knowledge to others. He will be greatly missed by our family here at Power & Mine. Our thoughts and prayers go to Christy and family during this very difficult time. - Posted by: C Shamlock (Co-Worker / Employer) on: May 21, 2015

I am deeply saddened by Louis' passing and offer my sincere condolences to the family. Even though life took us on different paths, I fondly remember our times chumming around during our school years in St.Pierre. Rest well my friend. - Posted by: Dennis Musick (Friend) on: May 21, 2015
