Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAUREEN PAMELA VOTTO March 14, 1957 May 18, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maureen Votto on Monday, May 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Maureen is survived by her husband and soul mate of 40 years, Larry, who provided unconditional love and care throughout her illness. She will also be deeply missed by her children; Clayton (Sarah), Ashley (Laura), and Amber (Graham); grandchildren Josh, Sydney, Emma, and Hailey; step grandchildren Darian and Sydney; siblings Barbara (Evelyn) and Paul; brothers and sisters-in-law Roger (Karen), Anita (Gary), Norbert (Diane), Barbara Bazzocchi; aunts, uncles, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Maureen was predeceased by her parents Adeline Johnston and Roland Cadotte; and her brothers Marcel and Larry Cadotte. Maureen was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always put the needs of her family before her own. She looked forward to the time spent in her yard, gardening and enjoying the outdoors. She loved shopping, doing Saturday morning crossword puzzles and spoiling her family with her delicious home-cooked meals. Maureen dedicated her career at Canada Safeway where she worked for over 35 years and made many life-long friendships. A big part of her life was her little dog Izzy who provided a lot of love and a lot of laughs for her. Izzy was right by her side every moment and will miss her immensely. Maureen's family would like to thank Dr. Maksymiuk and Meghan of CancerCare Manitoba as well as the Palliative Care Team with the South-East Regional Health Authority. Following Maureen's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2015. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, please consider making a donation to CancerCare Manitoba.
