ANNETTE DUMONTIER 1918 - 2015 Annette Dumontier (née Champagne) passed away May 30, 2015, at Repos Jolys, at the age of 97 years. She has crossed over to join her husband Donat Dumontier, daughter Carmelle, and son Georges. She was also predeceased by her grandson Christian Vermette, and three sons-in-law Aimé Bruneau, René Beaudette and Bob Mathers. She will be missed by her brother Joe and Anita Perrault from White Rock, BC. She leaves behind four sons - Albert and Renée (Garand), Raymond and Dolores (Ayotte), Claude and Denise (Godard) and Harvey and Karrie (Huntley); four daughters Léa Mathers, Stella Beaudette, Irene Bruneau, and Estelle and André Lecocq, and son-in-law Richard Vermette. Mom also leaves 23 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mom spent her younger years at home tending to her family. She always found time for gardening and canning. The house was kept spotless. She was very creative and demonstrated her talents through sewing and knitting. Her legacy included many dolls cherished by her grandchildren. The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the excellent care received at Repos Jolys. Flowers gratefully declined, please make donations to a charity of your choice. As per Mom's wishes, a private family service has taken place with interment in St. Jean Baptiste.
