Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS ALLEN HURD June 17, 1946 June 1, 2015 Peacefully on June 1, 2015, Dennis Allen Hurd of St. Clements passed away at the age of 68. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, daughter Donna (Don), sons Jason, Jeff (Liv), granddaughters Bridget and Jackie, and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his father Harry, mother Katherine, brothers Lyle and Dale, and daughter-in-law Heather. Dennis grew up in the Brooklands neighbourhood of Winnipeg. He enjoyed a lengthy career as a long haul trucker and was employed by Searcy Trucking for the past 22 years where he was well respected by his colleagues. He always enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family and many friends. He will be dearly missed by all. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of N1 South at Concordia Hospital for the care they provided Dennis during his short stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Dennis's memory. At Dennis's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
