• Nan I still blame myself because I wasn't there the night you left if only I could of been there to make things right and you would have never left when we found that morning we knew something wasn't right so we tried everything to wake you up. Uncle bird said you were okay when he seen you last why did you have to go everyday I cry for you. • My heart still aches tears still flow I can't fill the void I have in my heart. Sometimes I get by thinking your just at home waiting for me Don or Darren maybe you still are but a home I can't see I lost my best friend. • Cheryl desjarlais was my grandma. I loved her more than anything. I would give up everything just to see her and hear her call my name again. she was giving, kind and loved to help people who needed it the most. Nan I hope you will remember everyone who loved you. • To Cheryl's family I was so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. In the time that I worked with her at the Spence Street Thrift Store she was a real gem, never once did she complain of her poor health, she always had such a positive attitude. • Cheryl loved her family more than anything. She had faith in God, and belief in Traditional Medicine. Despite numerous obstacles in life, Cheryl's spirit never wavered in putting her family and her God first. Her giving nature kept her volunteering at the Spence Street Thrift Store in Winnipeg' s West End even after she was confined to a wheelchair.
