Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES JAMES JOHNSON Charles James Johnson passed away peacefully on June 18, 2015 surrounded by family. Charles was born July 30, 1931 in Carman, Manitoba. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy during the Korean Conflict in years 1953 to 1964. After Charles' discharge he became a crane Operator until he retired. Charles was predeceased by his mother Jean, father Walter, brothers Morris, Gerald, and Arthur. He is survived by his children Ruth (Ted), Bill (Anne), Don, Sandra (Darrell) and Ken; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers Walter and Oliver (Helen), sister Alice (Lawrence); sister-in-law Patricia. His warm infectious smile will be missed by family and friends and all that knew him. A celebration of Charles' life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. It is with sincere appreciation for all staff that provided care and love for our dad at Golden Links Lodge.
