Roger was born in Mariapolis, Manitoba on November 14, 1945. He grew up helping his family on the farm before they moved to the city in 1954. Among some of his favourite pastimes were woodworking, landscaping, playing hockey and tinkering around in the garage, but his absolute favourite was taking a nap in a comfy chair. Our sympathies to you, Beverly, and to your children, and extended family. Although we have not kept in touch through the passing years, we remember Roger from our student years at St. Paul's College. We recall him as a very respectful and pleasant fellow student. His jolly personality was enjoyed by all around him. Wishing you comfort in knowing that others are thinking of you at this most difficult time. - Posted by: Louis and Penny Hogan (friends) on: Jul 09, 2015

I worked with Roger starting with the Federal government in the 80s and then with the Prov. Govt which we both retired from. He may have been a shy boy, but those of us who knew the man, he was a veratable teaser and we shared many a good laugh at the antics he was famous for. He loved his family and worked hard to reach his goals. As well as his humour he had a serious side. I will miss the long talks we had and the teasing. He got as good as he gave. I noticed the service notice to late to attend. I'm so sorry Bev. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
