FRANCES WOOD Peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren our mother released her last breath of life. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Lucy Bird, her sisters Edna Johnston, Freda Manningway, Joyce, Beverly Rogers and Margaret; her brother Melvin Bird, her husband Kenneth Wood Sr., her grandsons Theodore Wood and Kyle Boulette, and her granddaughters Kristin Wood and Angel Kipling. She leaves to mourn her eight children Olga Wood, George (Marlene), Marilyn (Charles Simard), Sandra (Clarence Moneyas), Coreen (Howard Kipling), Kenneth (Gwendolyn), Maureen Wood, and Margaret (Richard Boulette), she also accepted as her own children Darlene Framelt, Ronnie McKenzie, Alice Belmore and Gerri Simard, 36 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings Stanford (Lillian), Bernice Bird, Mabel Starr, Marlene Gallager and Joe Bird. Wake Services will be held on Friday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m., Black River Band Hall and Saturday, July 4 at 7:00 p.m., Manigotogan Hall. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Manigotogan Hall with her Pastor Raymond Settee officiating the service. The pallbearers are Luke Wood, Shawn Wood, Devon Boulette, Kelvin Boulette, Rene Simard and Shane Smith. She will be laid to rest at the Manigotogan Anglican Cemetery. The family would like to thank Don Hildebrant and Linda Twoheart at the George Guimond Care Home also Dr. Lambert and the Pine Falls Hospital staff for taking care of her. I was very sadden to hear of my cousin and dear friend's passing. I would have loved to be there for her family but sadly could not make it to services... always remember that my thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
