Louise is one of those people you will forever remember. She had a kind and giving heart. Always interested in how our family was doing. She loved to talk, but she also loved to listen. Louise has always given me good advice. I wish I could have bottled up some of Louise's pep and spirit for later in life, but I think knowing and remembering Louise is all we'll need. The work she did in that big garden! Passed by many evenings with Louise bent over either picking or weeding. A honk of the horn and always a wave she would give. We are truly saddened to hear of this. She was very much like family to us. Richard and family, our deepest sympathy. - Posted by: Kelly Leonard ( neighbour ) on: Jul 12, 2015

We will miss Louise and her garden stories. Louise shared a garden with Sonia, Bev and Chuck. She loved to come and sit in the gardens and enjoyed her visits there. - Posted by: Debby and Glenn Johnson (Transcona Community Gardens) on: Jul 09, 2015

We were very fortunate to know Louise. She was a very spirited lady who had an enthusiasm & zest for life. She was a very giving lady who often handed out her delicious homemade paska bread & Christmas Cake. She had a wonderfully cheerful disposition & will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Wendy & Garry Nichol (friend neighbor) on: Jul 08, 2015

Our condolences to Leonard, Dennis, and Richard and their families. Many fond memories of your mom with her prized garden and flowers. Had many opportunities to get advice from her about why our garden wasn't doing so well and hers was flourishing. AND, we cannot forget the Sour Cream that we used to buy from her.
