GEORGINA ELIZABETH TINGLEY (nee MOUSSEAU) Surrounded by family, Georgina passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Deer Lodge Centre. Left to mourn her loss are her children, Linda (Brian), Gary, Sharon (Bob) and Brenda (Darryl), her grandchildren Randi, Sarah, Christine, Crystal and Eric, as well as great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Mom was one of five children in her family, all of whom loved to play cards. Many nights were spent at Grandma's; adults playing cards and the kids playing their own games. Yahtzee and video games became mom's pastime. She loved when someone would join her for a game or two, or three, but would be content just playing by herself. No matter where mom was, at home or at her favourite place; the cottage at Winnipeg Beach, she always found someone to play with her. Mom was a night owl and could be found any night sitting at the kitchen table with her coffee. If friends were around, she loved to have them sit and tell her all about the activities of the day. Mom loved to know what was going on, all the time. Our dad passed away in 2014 and as much as our hearts are breaking without our mom, we know that mom and dad are reunited. We love you mom. Special thanks to Deer Lodge and to all her new friends there. Everyone, especially her roommate and special friend Rona, made her stay, so much more enjoyable. At Georgina's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
