ISABELLE BEATRICE MYERS It is with great sadness that the family of Isabelle Myers, announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 after a full life of 99 years. Remaining to forever cherish Isabelle's memory are her son Alvin (Pat), granddaughters Robin (Oliver), Gina (Nelson), Melissa (Bill) and Erin (Chris), and great-granddaughters Shanelle, Brittany, Courtney, and Paige. Isabelle will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Audrey (Lorne), sister-in-law Ella, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband Ron, brothers George (Idella), Melvin (Fergie), and Dick. Isabelle was born June 29, 1916 in Findlater, Saskatchewan. While at school Isabelle met her lifelong love Ron and they were later married on Valentine's Day 1943. Isabelle taught for 21 years with the Seventh Day Adventist Schools all over Canada following Ron where ever the church called them. She loved singing, playing piano, gardening, quilting, and shopping. She loved when family and friends would come for a visit where she could show her culinary expertise. Her greatest joy was coming back to Winnipeg to be with her son and family. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redonda Street. A private family interment will be held at Transcona Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Nicole Mercier and all the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for their very special care given to Isabelle.
