Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLINOR SCHULZ (nee ALEXANDER) September 2, 1925 - August 20, 2015 Peacefully, Ellinor passed away in Winnipeg at the age of 89. Much loved by children Joan, Karen, Mark and their spouses Gilles, Noel, Maya. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Michelle (Jimi), Matthew (Jocelyne), Devin, Julia and great-grandchildren Cole, Desmond and Delilah. Also survived by brother Allen (Margaret), sisters-in-law Joyce, Gladys and their families. Predeceased by parents Alex and Irene Alexander, brothers Donald and Frank, infant son Eric and by her beloved husband Herb with whom she shared 65 years. Mom was born and raised in the rural community of Grandview, MB where she taught school and, after marriage to Herb in 1949, farmed and started a family. Winnipeg became their permanent home in 1962 (aside from a two year adventure in Phoenix, AZ). Mom was a homemaker and, in later years, a small business owner of Dorelle Fabrics and Tri-West Insurance. Throughout her married life Mom enjoyed many travels in Canada, the United States and Mexico and was especially happy to fulfill her life-long dream of visiting Paris. Mom had a quiet nature, a warm heart and an abundance of unconditional love. She was our anchor and we will forever miss her. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
