  • Gary Fournier was the teenage boyfriend and first love of my mother, Bunny Wright (nee Appleby). They met in Hamer, Germany at the Canadian Armed Forces high school. They went their separate ways after graduation but she always spoke of him with great affection. - Posted by: Katey Wright (Daughter of a friend) on: Jan 26, 2021

  • I had the pleasure of knowing Gary for 25 years. He was a very kind man with a heart of Gold. Gary would help anyone if he could, and he was very well liked by many. Words cannot describe what a great guy he was. I will miss you old friend, but never forget you. I hope you are at peace and will raise a glass in your honour. Cheers Gary! - Posted by: Colin Mudray (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2015

  • Our first memories of Gary date back to 1968. Gary was a gentle soul, kind hearted and generous, always willing to lend a hand, the consummate gentleman, a man who loved a good prank, loved to laugh and as another friend said the best hugger in the world. Although we had lost touch we would often reminisce about times spent with Gary and the years and experiences we shared. Today as we say so long we know you are with those who waited for you in Heaven. Gary you will forever remain in our hearts and in our minds. We love you. Rest in Peace dear friend. - Posted by: Shirley and Dena Davidson (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2015

  • You are a true friend and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating my son so amazingly. See you again Gary. - Posted by: Clint & Riley Dutiaume (Friends) on: Aug 29, 2015

  • I was fortunate enough to have a friendship with Gary that spanned 35 years. There was much laughter and good times in abundance, many nights of music and singing and a few Sambuca evenings I will never forget. But most of all I will never forget the faithful and supportive best buddy that was always there for his friends. I will always treasure the memories we shared and remember him with a smile. Merry we shall meet again my friend ... - Posted by: Glloria Sawatzky (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2015

  • Gary.... a kind man who loved the sport of kings, he was always looking for that big win 4 at Woodbine. That's how I knew him and also from Smittys, he was a gentle, soft spoken man who will be missed by his friends and acquaintances. Thinking of you PAL, that's what he called me.... right back at you. - Posted by: Jeffrey Katz (compadre) on: Aug 29, 2015
