Date of Passing: Aug 29, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTADEUSZ (TED) RAJFUR It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ted on August 29, 2015, at the age of 86. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Dora, children Ed (Cheryl), Irene (Chris), and Tony (Mary), grandchildren Angela, Matthew, Alison (Paul), Robyn and Kevin, and sisters Josephine (Ed) and Stefanie. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Aleksandra, and his first wife, Aniela. Ted was born September 25, 1928 in Bucyki, Poland. In 1940 he and his family were deported to Russia. Ted served with the Polish Cadets in Palestine and with the Navy in England. He immigrated to Canada in 1949 bringing his parents and sisters shortly after. Ted travelled extensively, but the best part of the journey was always returning to his two great loves, his family and his home. He retired in 1989 as vice president of a manufacturing company. The family would like to sincerely thank CancerCare, Palliative Care and Riverview Palliative. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 4 at St. Anthony's Parish, 250 Burrin Ave.
