BERNICE WILLIAMS GAUTHIER 1932 - 2015 It is with profound sadness that the Gauthier family announces the passing of our mother, our grandmother and our dear close friend on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the age of 83. After a courageous battle with cancer, Bernice Gauthier (Robinson) passed away peacefully at home with loved ones at her side. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Carmelle, Ted (Jodi), Jack, Monica (Dave), Diane, Todd (Jeannie) and Lisa (Kevin), and grandchildren: Scott, Colin and Blayden, Tyler (Ali), Mandy (Jeff), Maeghan, Ryan, Tina, Miranda, Chelsea and Drue. Bernice was predeceased by husband Jacques (Jake) in 1993, daughter Denise in 1995, her parents: Agnus Muir and James Dixon McGee Robinson, brother Jimmy and wife Mary, and her grandson Matthew. Bernice enjoyed many summers at Chesley's Resort with her family and friends, where she was the founder of the popular Golf Cart Parade. She was most proud of her catfish Specialist Master Angler award. Hobbies and interests throughout her life included reading, bingo, sewing, decoupage, paper tole, ceramics, plaster casting, stained glass, porcelain dolls, and loving her grandchildren. After many years at Victoria Hospital, Bernice retired there and left behind many friends. She touched the lives of many and was most known by her family and friends for always being there for everyone, her playfulness, her strong will, sense of humour and feisty spirit. Special thanks to the Palliative Care team for their compassion and support in our time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7 and Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0R3. A celebration of Bernice's life will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
