Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • To Keith's family. I was saddened to learn of Keith's passing. Although I had not had contact with Keith for oh so many years. I remember that on any given Sunday my family would visit with Uncle Wilf and Auntie Bert (Bobbi and Keith) at their big house in Transcona. Later I remember when our grandfather returned from Toronto and lived with the Pedlar's in Transcona our visits began more regular on Sundays. The Pedlar house in Transcona was a warm, inviting place. Our grandfather was a staunch English man who always wore his navy 3 piece suit with a white shirt and tie and black polished shoes on each and every Sunday. His gold chain watch was always in his vest pocket He smoked a pipe and walked with a cane. It was his cane that seemed to intrigue Keith and I on our Sunday visits. Inevitably grandfather's cane would suddenly disappear (only after grandfather had dosed off in his favourite chair). Eventually, it was always found on his awakening but who knew how it got where it was found. Keith and I always pled our ignorance. Our families shared many Sunday afternoons around the kitchen table in Transcona. Memories shared and never forgotten. Dennis and I would like to send our deepest sympathies to Peggy, Bobbi and their families for their loss. - Posted by: Edna (Pedlar) Lee (cousin) on: Sep 27, 2015

  • It has been a very very long time since I have seen Keith, but I remember him as a very quiet young man who was a good friend. He was very very quiet, but always had a twinkle in his eye and he never had a mean bone in his body. Rest in peace Keith...... - Posted by: Leslie Young (nee Farnworth) (childhood friend) on: Sep 19, 2015
