Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUANITO VIADO MARANAN July 12, 1951 - October 14, 2015 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Juanito (Pepe) Maranan, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the age of 64 years. He was predeceased by his wife Leonila Maranan, father Eulogio Maranan, and brother Eufronio Maranan. Pepe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children Jayson (Kim) and Lillian (Erid), and grandchildren Keanan, Yacine, Jordan, Senia and Karmyn. Also left to mourn are his mother Pacita Maranan, siblings Wilfredo (Puring), Rosie (Sammy) Ilag, Lita (Onnie) Rutaquio, Dory (Tony) Capucion, Remy, Mike (Dina), Anally (Gid) Lozano, Jimmy (Liza), and Ruel (Lorna), as well as numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandnieces/nephews, and extended relatives in Canada and the Philippines. Pepe was born on July 12, 1951 in Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines. He cared deeply for his family, and over decades, accomplished bringing numerous members of extended family to Canada to enjoy a better future. He and Leony raised their children, and worked tirelessly so that they could fill their childhood with extracurricular activities and family vacations. A lover of golf, he enjoyed spending time with friends on the course, and in recent years, loved spoiling his grandsons with new golf gear and visits to the driving range. Anyone who knows Pepe knows his outgoing personality and big smiles and laughs, always the jokester of the crowd. His sense of humour, wisdom, compassion, and humility will be forever engrained in our hearts. Lamay will be held on Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Avenue. Internment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends wishing may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
