Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON MOYSE On October 18, 2015, Gordon Moyse, with his loving family by his bedside, passed away and went to his eternal home. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, Jean, his son David (Connie), daughter Jacquie and granddaughter Jazzmyn, daughter-in-law Lorraine and grandson Nathan. He was predeceased by his son Graham and parents, Claude and Winifred. Gordon was born in Plymouth, Devon, U.K. on September 13, 1930, met his wife Jean through the cycling club in 1948, they fell in love and married in 1952. Gordon was a very hard working dedicated man who worked in the heavy electrical industry. He began his career at British Electric Transformer Co. In 1969 he brought the family to Canada and continued his career at Pauwels Canada, Inc. (formerly Federal Pioneer Electric) until he retired in 1994. Although he enjoyed his work, he was happy to retire. He enjoyed camping, fishing and working around the house and garden. He was a very loving, caring, compassionate and patient man and with his wife Jean volunteered much of his time at Riverview Health Centre. Although we often told him his dry, British humour left something to be desired, we will very much miss those corny jokes. We love you very much and will miss you until we are all together again. We would like to give a special thanks to Lorne, Ron and Grant for their spiritual support and to all the nurses and doctors who provided him with care and comfort during his many stays. A private family burial will take place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. My deepest condolences to Jean and Gordon's family. We had the great pleasure of having Gordon as a neighbour for 10 years. Such a wonderful man, kind considerate and always with a smile and willing to lend a hand and most of all wonderful to our boys. Rest in peace Gordon.
