ROSA GALAPON Home With the Lord August 20, 1921 - October 24, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mommy Rosa Galapon on October 24, 2015 peacefully with her family at her bedside. Mommy Rosa was 94 years old. She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands: Claudio Galapon Sr. (1977) and Victor Padua (2001); and four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters: Rosalinda Carganilla (Eleazar), Ofelia Bredonia (Orlando), Solita Carganilla (Cesar), Ana Ros Ching (Nestor), and Nemia Quinit (Ricardo); son, Claudio Galapon Jr; grandchildren: Lorraine Tuazon (Marvin), Hazel Lyn, Melissa Alibin (Jr), Allan, Brian, Leanne, Michelle Ramos (Diomer), Jenny Tucay (Danilo), Jeph Carganilla (Rose), Joey, Sol-Katherine, Nathaniel (Jenny), Mel, Roxanne, Tracey Caragay (Greg), Bradley, Jonathan, and Richelle; great-grandchildren: Justin, Vanessa, Liam, Noah, Janiella, Jayden, and Lexie. She will be missed as well by her only surviving sister, Catalina Ancheta (Dionisio) of Texas, USA; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Niegos (Philippines), Dr. Saturnino Fronda (Nenita - deceased) of San Diego, California, Leticia Magdurulan (Philippines), Eddie Galapon (Philippines), Loleng Galapon (Philippines), Filipina Kuiperif (Holland); Modesto Galapon (Sobing); six stepdaughters and stepson, and numerous nephews and nieces in Canada, USA, Philippines, and Qatar. Mommy was a kind, loving, patient, and very caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. The Lamay (viewing) will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Prayers will begin at 7:30 p.m., with Fr. Jojo Anquilero officiating. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2N 1R3, with interment to follow in the Himlayang Filipino Garden at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
