WINFRIED KOCH Peacefully, on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the C.P.L Poseidon Care Centre, Winfried Koch passed away at the age of 86 years. Winfried was predeceased by his beloved wife Eva in 2004. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Claudia (David) Thompson, grandson Jesse Thompson, great-grandson Ethan, his son Stephen (Bonnie Kerr), and his brother Torsten (Ursel) Koch of Badkissingen, Germany. Winfried, Eva and Claudia immigrated in 1957 to Winnipeg where the arrival of Stephen took place and where they raised their family in Windsor Park. He was employed with Versatile Manufacturing. In accordance with Winfried's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service held. Special thanks to Krista for her loving care and support given to Winfried in his final years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
