Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS ELEANOR KLATT (nee STEWART) Peacefully, on November 9, 2015 at the age of 88 years at Kildonan Personal Care Home. Gladys is survived by her loving son Glen Klatt, stepchildren, Douglas Klatt (Gert), Allison Fletcher (Mick), sister Marge Hodge (Bill) and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was born April 8, 1927 in Timmons, Ontario. She and her family eventually relocated to England where she spent her teenage years. They returned to Canada after the Second World War where they settled in Winnipeg. She worked as a dispatcher at Manitoba Telephone System where she met her future husband, Lineman, Walter Klatt. They married December 23, 1967 in Buffalo, New York and made their home on Valour Road until Walter's passing in 1991. Gladys enjoyed sewing, travelling, shopping and visiting with her family and friends. She was a very active member of her Church. Thank you to the kind and caring staff at the Misericordia Interim Care and Kildonan Personal Care home. Special thanks to Major Margaret McLeod, Captains Shelly and James Rands, the Living Hope Community Church, and Ron Cooper for their support, guidance and prayers. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB. Luncheon to follow.
