  • I knew Orlando from junior high at Earl Grey and we continued our friendship well into our adult lives. He was a gentle , kind man who would never hurt anyone. Sadly we lost our connection about 20 years ago but I thought about him often. I'm very saddened by this news. RIP my old friend - Posted by: Tony Sacco (Friend) on: Nov 16, 2015

  • He was a very gentle soul. One of the nicest guys I remember from our school days. Another life cut short. We send our heartfelt sympathies to his family.... - Posted by: Scott Bradshaw (schoolmate) on: Nov 16, 2015

  • Orlando and I were friends very early in our lives, both attending Mulvey Elementary School in Winnipeg back in the '60s.We hung out together a lot, but when we changed schools, our lives naturally went in separate directions. I felt very fortunate to run into Orlando by chance on a few separate occasions many years later and the re-connection was instant, heartfelt and sincere. I had always wondered what became of Orlando, and thought about him more often than others because he left such an indelible impression on me. He was a kind and gentle soul - exactly what the world needs more of...but now has one less, and much too soon. Rest in Peace my friend, and I know we will meet one more time.... - Posted by: Alvin Radtke (Boyhood Chum, Classmate) on: Nov 15, 2015
