I worked for Meyer for eight years plus, and for decades thereafter he played a large role in personal my life. As a business owner and CEO he never ever took his eye off the ball, even when he juggled as many as a dozen balls across North America; he rarely left money on the table. Driven, savvy and wise to the human condition first-hand, Meyer always moved forward and earned success until, suddenly, he couldn't. His presence is already sorely missed. - Posted by: Norm Stern (Friend) on: Nov 28, 2015

A decade of business with an extraordinary person that remained mentally active and sharp to the end. Meyer will be missed in the business community and by the many lives he has touched. - Posted by: David Moffatt (Business) on: Nov 18, 2015

So sorry to hear about Meyer. He will be missed by many family and friends. I had the pleasure of spending a small amount of time with Meyer in Florida the past years over breakfast ourselves and other meals with other Winnipeggers. I enjoyed our conversations and he was always interested in discussing business. You will be missed. Danny & Sheila - Posted by: SHEILA & DANNY ROTHER (FRIENDS) on: Nov 18, 2015
