Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURA MAE BUNN (nee HARRY) March 2, 1944 - November 22, 2015 On November 22, 2015, with family and loved ones around her, at the Health Sciences Centre, our mother went home to be with family in heaven. Laura fought a long and courageous battle with diabetes. Laura joins her parents Ida and Lawrence Harry, her three brothers George Harry, Ronald Harry and Larry (Lawrence) Harry, and her two sisters Lillian Kent (nee Harry) and Marilyn Blackbird (nee Harry). She leaves to mourn her loving husband Joseph Bunn, of 53 years, and their children, Ronald Bunn (Rose), Mark Bunn (Lana), Paul Bunn, Doreen Bunn (Raymond), and Lawrence Bunn (Stacey). Laura leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her two sisters Vera Bird (Bill) and Alice Bird (Joey), as well as her in-laws Verna Prince, Roderick Bunn, Christine Sinclair, Mary Cameron and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was so close to her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, especially Katherine Bunn, Lance Bunn, Makenna Bunn, Wyatt Bunn and great-granddaughters Annabelle Swampy and Kyla Courchene. Laura was very proud of her granddaughter Kelcie Bunn for completing university and getting a degree. Laura was a kind woman and was loved by all she knew. Laura always had a smile and she loved to visit people. Laura was a hard working, caring, loving person. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Laura was still very much in love with her husband Joe, they would often still argue as a young couple. Joe's strength and love for his wife kept her strong for many years. Wake Services will be held at Verna Prince's of Sagkeeng, beginning November 22, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Christ Anglican Church, Sagkeeng. The pallbearers will be Tim Bird, Farley Bird, Steven Harry, Gilbert Blackbird, Darren Kent, and Hector Prince. All of Laura's family are to consider themselves honorary pallbearers.
