Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRHODA CAROLINE LITTLE January 10, 1914 - November 18, 2015 With sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Rhoda Little. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Frank (Donna) Elaine, (Kevin), Cassie Stobbe; Suzanne (Rob), Jacob, Danica Isaac; David (Lea), Chris (Nathalie), Joshua, Sarah; Greg (Helen), Alexa, Graeme, Rebecca; Richard (Marilyn), Jacquelyn, (Mike) Ella Northam; John (Kim) Garrett, Erin. Mom lived a full and rich life in Winnipeg. She attended schools in Winnipeg and graduated from Kelvin High, followed by her university days at Holmby College in California. Mom travelled extensively both with her parents and later in life with her friends to Europe, Asia and Australia. She also found time for community service as an executive member of the Opti-Mrs Club, Canadian Consumers Association for Winnipeg and the UCW, as well as volunteer with other community organizations. She was a long standing supporter of St. Andrews River Heights United Church. Mom had a variety of interests, reading, sports, bridge, baking - she loved licorice allsorts and sherry. Mom always said "I've had a wonderful life - my wonderful family - my four sons are the most important happenings in my life. I could not wish for anything more.". She enjoyed many good years with her family at the cottage. As per Mom's wishes, a private family service is being held. Our family would like to thank the staff at West Park Manor on 1 East for their compassion and care. Donations in memory of Rhoda may be made to the charity of your choice. OH my, I just ran across Rhoda's obit. I have soooo many memories of her and her kindness to me as a child. She was always "Auntie Rhoda" to me. She always had such a positive attitude, even in the face of diversity! Part of who I am today is due to lessons learned from her! God bless you all.
