He spent much of his working career in the printing industry. While enjoying bowling and curling throughout his lifetime, upon retirement, he had a passion for golf and enjoyed playing until the last years of his life. He enjoyed travelling and often spoke of a trip to Portugal with his brothers as a highlight in his life. He enjoyed family and had grandchildren spanning 34 years and great-grandchildren over the past four years. He spent the last few years at Meadowood Manor where he enjoyed the activities but especially the friends with which he conversed with on a daily basis. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at CancerCare Manitoba as well as the doctors and staff at the Victoria Hospital for the exceptional care he received. A celebration of his life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 with a reception of family and friends to follow at the same location.
