ROSE PERRY (1923 - 2015) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Perry (nee Lamblin), our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed on November 29, 2015, at the age of 92, at Actionmarguerite (Taché Center) with family by her side. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sheila Newsome (nee Perry), Deb Lundy (Ron), her grandchildren, Karen Malo, Shannon Hoffman, Christiane Bohemier, Tiana Bohemier, Dr. Jean-Paul Bohemier (Elisangela), Brianne Bohemier and her many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Perry, her infant Marie Louise, her three brothers, four sisters and their spouses. Mom was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba the youngest of eight children. She was married to Gordon in 1945. They built a home in St. Vital where they raised their family. Mom worked in the hospitality industry all of her life until her retirement at age 65 from Great West Life. Mom's home was always open to everyone where her wonderful baking was enjoyed. She was dedicated and compassionate to all family members in need especially Uncle Hugh Perry who spent 50 plus years in Riverview due to polio. Our family would like to thank the staff on 3 ABC for all their compassion and loving care to our Mom for the three years that she resided there. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made in her memory to Actionmarguerite (Taché Center) at 185 Despins, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2H 2B3.
