Grace was predeceased by her husband John; son Rodney; sisters, Lillian, and Mildred; parents Henry and Nathalie. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Penny (Ron); their sons, Cody, Gavin and Kyle; her late son Rodney; his children, Brittney and Cameron; as well her brothers Clifford (Darlene), George (Patricia); sisters, Joyce, Kathy (Aart), Marj, Shirley (Richard) and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Your love of sharing went a long way, Your love for caring showed every day. You are not alone as you rest in peace, As for the love you missed is with you now. And although we are saddened from the day of your passing; The love/memories we have for you will always be in our heart, So no one can tear that apart. A celebration of Grace's life will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg, MB. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Jake Schmidt officiating. Reception to follow. Interment of cremated remains will be held a later date. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. We knew Grace in the 1990's when she babysit our 2 sons in our home for several years. She was a calm and kind person who we trusted to take good care of our 2 active boys on many occasions. And for years after we did not need her services anymore she kept in touch with us and always liked to hear the news about Jason and Andrew. I knew Grace or Pennys mom for a long time. She was always smiley and happy everytime I saw her and I often times bumped into her shopping for either penny or her grandkids, which always made my heart flutter that she was such a giving mom. I will miss seeing her at Pennys house for all her family events.
