Carol loved to travel, spending many winter vacations with Jim in Palm Springs, California, and went on a number of cruises, and in the last few years spent some time in Parksville on Vancouver Island, B.C. Carol also enjoyed music and theatre and attended numerous cultural performances presented by the symphony, ballet and opera. • It is with a very heavy heart that I write this post. I will miss Aunt Carol very much. She was a very dedicated and passionate lady. Her family and friends were always a priority and she had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and cared about. She was a true angel on earth dedicating many years of caring for her loved ones as well as the numerous years she spent caring for others family members as a nurse. The best memories of my childhood were ones spent in Winnipeg with my aunts and uncles. I am very blessed to have these memories of Aunt Carol and I will always treasure them. She will be truly missed. - Posted by: Kristie (Blaine) Bartlett (Great Niece ) on: Dec 17, 2015
