VIOLETA FABRO SANTOS June 8, 1968 - December 18, 2015 Violeta Fabro Santos, 47, of Winnipeg, Manitoba died Friday, December 18, 2015. She was born June 8, 1968, in Quezon City, Philippines, the daughter of the late Filomeno Fabro and Nieves Fabro. Violeta attended Daniel McIntyre Institute, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On July 17, 1993, she was united in marriage to Rodrigo Santos Jr. in Winnipeg. She was employed as a foster parent at the time of her passing. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing with Eva and the Sidekicks, eating out, reading and spending time with her friends, family and children. She is survived by her husband Rodrigo Santos Jr.; four children, Sharlyne Anne Santos, Shauldon Paul Santos, Shaundale John Santos, and Shareene Rose Santos; four brothers, Rudolfo Fabro of Quezon City, Philippines, Filomeno Fabro Jr. of Chaong, Philippines, Ernesto Fabro of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Avelino Fabro of Quezon City, Philippines; six sisters, Virginia Mapili, Zenaida Zoleta, Magdalena Matibag of Quezon City, Philippines, Juanita Lichauco of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Susana Marquez of Quezon City, Philippines, and Minda Fabro of Cebu City, Philippines. She was preceded in death by her father, Filomeno Fabro, mother, Nieves Fabro, brothers, Melchor Fabro, Marcelo Fabro, and sisters, Elizabeth Leason, and Ligaya Fabro. Viewing/Lamay will commence at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 and Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 28, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., with Reverend Geoffrey Angeles celebrant. Interment in Glen Lawn Memorial Garden.
