SUMMER EMBER BARANOWSKI It is with deep deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Summer Ember Baranowski on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at the age of seven months and one week. Left to cherish Summer's memory and their life with her are her parents Lindsey (nee Emberley) and Ben Baranowski. Her grandparents Roman and Walclawa Baranowski; Deanne and Keith Emberley; her aunts and uncles, Paulina and Roman Baranowski and Tyler Emberley. Also, are those so many people whose lives Summer touched and loved her so much. On May 9, 2015 a baby girl blessed this world with her presence. A vessel of life, light, purity and innocence. Summer enriched the lives of all those around her. Stealing hearts with only a smile and a twinkling of her blue eyes. Summer was surrounded by love, oh so much love. She reciprocated by giving love back tenfold with just her presence and beauty. Summer's personality was just beginning to show itself. A laugh, a sound that let you know how she felt, a pair of outstretched arms, a wet sloppy kiss and a smile that melted your heart. A freak vehicle accident suddenly changed things and on Wednesday, December 16 2015 Summer left this world as she had arrived. Pure and innocent, surrounded by love and still stealing hearts. As we held her and said goodbye she left us. Loved so much that it aches and pieces of our hearts are missing. May God bless and keep her. Both of us would like to thank all those who have expressed their condolences and been there to help us through this difficult time. We would also like to thank the people at two of Winnipeg's Hospitals - the St. Boniface Hospital NICU ward who cared for Summer when she arrived in this world and the Health Sciences Centre PICU ward who was there for Summer when she left us. They are loving, caring, compassionate people that deserve our thanks. There will be a service for Summer at the Immaculate Conception Church (the Grotto) in Cooks Creek at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015. A gathering will follow the service at Hawthorne Estates in Garson. There will be an interment at Falcon Lake at a later date. Flowers can be sent to Glen Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Summers name to the St. Boniface NICU ward. Family and friends wishing may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550

  • We're so sorry to hear about your loss. My mom ( Mary) constantly told me about summer, as if it were her own granddaughter and what gift she is making her, especially this Christmas. I can't help but think about the whole family, my daughter (Emily) will turn 8 months this Thursday 24th. I can't help but think she's the same size and age as summer. I wish you so much love and peace this Christmas I know it will be hard but only time can heal that. Turn you eyes to our Heavenly Father he will carry you through this time, don't hesitate to kneel and tell him how you feel and pour out you heart, he listens and he is the one holding Summer is his arms you can rejoice and feel peaceful with that thought. God be with you all All our love - Posted by: Adam and Vanessa Gross (Friends) on: Dec 21, 2015
