NOELLA BERNIER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noella Bernier on January 6, 2016 at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness. Noella was predeceased by her father Alfred and her mother Marie Louise (née Grouette) as well as her brothers Charles, Gerard, Rene and Louis. Left to mourn her passing is her sister Alice Langill and her nephews and nieces Doris, Lucille, Marcel, Lorraine, Elaine, Yvette, Janine, Lynne, Gerald and Ron as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Noella was born December 27, 1926 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg at the age of 18 years and went on to have a long career with Pitfield/RBC Dominion Securities where she retired at 65 years of age. Aunty enjoyed organizing and hosting many family events. She was a wonderful person, lots of energy and fun. She was always very generous, especially to her nieces and nephews. Noella was an absolute dog lover, especially her beloved Sassy who she took in and cared for after her best friend Marian became ill. Cremation has taken place at Noella's request with a private graveside burial at a later date. The family wishes to thank all the staff on 7A West at St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care. Also thank you to Dr. O. Bereznay for his care throughout the years.
