ALICE SHASTAL With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Alice Shastal on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Bill and her brothers Fred and George Serbin. Left to cherish her memory are Dayle, Kelly, Phil, Scott, Jeff and Dianna. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. I was a fortunate girl for Aunt Alice - Nanny was a great Aunt and I have a treasure chest full of great times and really good conversations with her shared throughout my life. We are saddened we live so far away and will be unable to attend her Memorial Service today, however, we are hopeful our eldest son, Wade and our niece, Claudia and/or our nephew, Daniel will be able to attend offering our respect for Nanny in our lives, plus to offer more personal condolences on our behalf to my dear cousins - Dayle + Kelly.
