As Jack Chritian said, you could always count on him being the same guy, day after day. I miss his easy going, friendly nature, even when he was the boss. Even then, he stayed the same. - Posted by: Jerry Hooley (Also employee of Canada Post) on: Feb 18, 2016

My deepest condolences Ginny and family. I worked on the counters at the Selkirk Post for several years before John retired and he was my supervisor. He was one of the best supervisor's I worked for and simply a wonderful man to know. He was a steady man to work for with a calming influence. It was his simple everyday kindness that drew you to like John and his laughter. I shall always remember his laugh, as well as him cooking hotdogs for the staff on Hotdog Days. I am so very sorry for your loss. Bev Dueck - Posted by: Bev (Coontz) Dueck (Canada Post Employee) on: Jan 28, 2016

Spent a lot of years at Canada Post with John and although sometimes we didn't see eye to eye I always had a lot of respect for him. I really enjoyed that big booming laugh of his. You could always count on John to be the same guy every day, a top quality person, someone you could really like. Fare thee well, John. - Posted by: Jack Christian (Former co-worker) on: Jan 26, 2016
