Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD EDWARD OSBAK On Sunday, January 24, 2016 after just turning 59 years old, Ronald's battle with lung cancer ended, but not alone. He died quietly in the arms of Debbie. Ronnie was born on January 13, 1957 at home in Leifur, Manitoba to Gordon and Norma Osbak and big brother Eldon (Jolene). Three more brothers were to follow, Randy (Sherry), Val (Debbie) and Owen. He now joins his mom Norma who passed away last June of the same disease. He kept a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. He was quick to help whenever help was needed. Ronnie worked many jobs throughout the years but the best fit was his job with Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation. He showed up a half hour early everyday and took such pride in being able to operate all the equipment and fixing anything around the jobsite. Thank you James and Fred for acknowledging a job well done that meant everything to Ronnie. You were not just his bosses, but his friends. Ronnie loved the outdoors. Hunting, trapping, fishing, weekends at the lake and cruising back roads. While indoors he often had a guitar in his hand or a book. He loved westerns. His aunts, uncles and cousins were more like brothers and sisters, They spent many hours with Ronnie as they gathered at every opportunity. Ronnie was a quiet man with a whole lot of love for this big family. I know we are thankful to have had this wonderful man in our lives. He will always be cherished. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Ronnie during this year. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later time. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
