Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONSTANCE CAROLINE MARIE BRANDT (nee PRESLEY) It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Constance Caroline Marie Brandt on February 1, 2016 at the age of 85. We lost the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend we could possibly have had. Although gone from us we take comfort in knowing she may now be reunited with her daughter Valorie, and son Derek who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by all nine of her siblings: Margaret, Kenneth, Aldeen, Ellsworth, Curtis, Joan, Madeline, Elaine and Elgin. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Herbert, son David (Anita), and her grandchildren, Jennifer (James), Erin (Larry), Alan (Justin), Ryan (Ashley), Kayla, Nicholas, Grace, Kevin and Cory along with their families, and numerous great-grandchildren. Connie was born in Gilbert Plains, MB on September 11, 1930, and moved to Winnipeg where she would live and work the rest of her life with her husband Herby. She worked for a catering company for over 30 years, and she was a great cook. We are going to miss her cabbage rolls and perogies and Christmas baking. For many years Connie would travel every summer to see her grandchildren in Kelowna, BC and Red Deer, AB. Her family meant everything to her. We will all stay warm with the love you provided along with all of your knitting projects. We will miss you dearly, but you live on in our hearts. "Love you Mom." A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715

My deepest condolences to Uncle Herby, David & Anita and family and to the Waygood/Brandt families. She may have left this world, but will always remain in your hearts and memory. Aunt Connie was a terrific lady who was always there to lend a hand - sandwiches and baking (best nothings and cheesecake that you have ever tasted)for all showers/funerals and special knitted sweaters/bonnets for each new addition to the family - for all of her brothers/sisters families as well. She will be sadly missed but remembered for her generosity, humor, and wit. - Posted by: Melaine Patri (Niece) on: Feb 05, 2016
