I met Margaret while working at the school division (many years ago) and our love of old Hollywood movies kept us connected for many years. I am very sorry to hear of Margaret's passing. She was indeed a very kind, warm and lovely lady. My deepest sympathy. God's blessings. Linda Stannard - Posted by: lindastannard (friend) on: Feb 08, 2016

For the past 16 years I've known and worked for the Beggs sisters. I would hear weekly stories from Margaret and Joyce's youth as well as their weekly activities. She was affectionately known as 'Miss Margaret' by my children. We will miss her great sense of humor and loving, generous personality. - Posted by: Dan (Friend of the family.) on: Feb 06, 2016

Margaret was one of those people that you were instantly drawn to. She and her older sister lived in the family home for all her life. We never tired of hearing her stories about her ventures. Nothing stopped Margaret from grocery shopping, going to the fish market to get a weekly supply of trout, chiopractor, weekly hair appointment to name a few. At least once a week for over 30 years they would go to their favourite restaurant for soup and a sandwich. (Always the same order). Margaret was a person of habit and stubborn (which we inherited from her ancestors across "the pond"). Margaret and her sister had a bond like no other. Neither had married nor had any children. They made many trips together and going to Massachusetts was one of their favourite spots. The sisters relied on many acquaintances (who became friends) to help them out with daily chores. Margaret loved animals and would bring treats to her hairdressers doggies. Her own cats Tiger and Tigger will miss their 3 square meals a day and treats. They will miss her as well neighbours and friends. Margaret was a great lady and had a smile and laugh for everyone. A remarkable lady has left us and her bright and positive personality will live in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace. xo - Posted by: Heather Smithson (Next door neighbour) on: Feb 06, 2016

We had been seeing Margaret and her sister in our Chiropractic office for years. We looked forward to her weekly visits. She will always be remembered by her fuzzy blue slippers that she would wear in the office. Margaret was always full of stories, and very friendly to everyone she met. Margaret had the ability to make everyone she talked to smile. We will miss you Margaret. Gone, but never forgotten... - Posted by: Dr. Rick & Brenda () on: Feb 06, 2016
