ELEANOR CHIU (FISHER) Peacefully with her family by her side Eleanor (Ellie) Chiu passed away on February 1, 2016 at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 40 years Andy, their daughter Lisa; her granddaughters Mia and Emmie, who were the joy of her life. Her siblings Gordon, Darlene, Jamie, Tannis (Gerry); brother in law Willie; mother in law Peggy P.E. Chao and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Terry and Ramona Fisher; siblings Lynn, Wayne, Allen (Sunny), Kerry; brother in law Bill and Father in law Eugene Y.G. Chao. The family would like to thank all the staff on the 5th floor and the St. Boniface Hospital, especially her nurses Amber and Sarah. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
