  • I am utterly saddened by the loss of this beautiful, giving, caring lady whom I adored.. I had the privilege to work for her at one time at Chicken Chef, 21 years ago and she treated me like a daughter. Sally was the epitome of good.. She was the most loving person who gave hugs and advice and listened when you needed a shoulder. She taught me so much when I worked for her.. She would say "oh small fry.. I'm so proud of you" in her high voice which made you smile and feel loved. And when you screwed up - she would say "oh little lover.. you will get it right next time". She made the most delicious apple pie and her cream cheese mashed potatoes were incredible. She was the heart of the kitchen and she touched everyone's life with some gold. You will truly be missed by so many... My heart and soul goes out to her family Ron, Darren, Sheri, Nan, and all her grandchildren and sisters Jennifer and Bonnie.. I loved her very much always. Rest in peace Momma Sally.. Heaven has just received a gift.. And boy will they eat well! - Posted by: Rachelle Heroux (Friend / Employee from Chicken Chef) on: Feb 15, 2016

  • There is a light that shines brightly within everyone. It radiates beauty, love, peace, happiness and joy––it is eternal. We are energy. We are love. We are light. This light glowed so bright within Sally that it propelled her to love, live, laugh, and share unconditionally with all who had the great fortune to know her.  Our angel on earth would wrap each person in a hug, a laugh, and a smile with the wings tucked neatly inside her big, beautiful heart. Her brilliance and beauty is now an eternal part of our hearts, reminding us to embrace each delicious moment as it comes. In honour of Sally, give a hug, remember to laugh, share a story, help a friend, your family, a neighbour or even a stranger, volunteer in your community, bake, cook, dream, create, play with children and grandchildren, love unconditionally, give YOUR life everything you have to give. In each act of kindness, Sally’s light will shine that much brighter.  Cheers Sally, my beautiful sister, ‘till we meet again, hugs and kisses––Jennifer - Posted by: Jennifer R.
