Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I served on Session with Elsworth for several years. He was very supportive, and a dear friend. When Elsworth read scripture we could understand and hear every word which was a true blessing. My sincere sympathy to the family. - Posted by: Betty Beckinsale (St. Andrews Presbyterian Church) on: Feb 22, 2016

  • Ells was a dear and wonderful human being who loved his family with all is heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you now. - Posted by: Darlene Martel (friend) on: Feb 18, 2016

  • Mr. Poliah was my grade 5 teacher at General Vanier. He was a gentle soul who clearly loved what he did for a living. I will always remember the dreamy look in his eyes when he spoke of his homeland in Trinidad. And he had a wonderful sense of humour and loved telling us of his childhood and bringing 'roti-pans' to school for lunch. Such a lovely man. I think of him often, and I am truly sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Shannon Peppard (former student) on: Feb 14, 2016

  • Elsworth ,my friend, we had good times in Trinidad. We continued to be in touch, while living our lives in Canada. My thoughts are with you sand your family. Merlin Trabouilay - Posted by: Merlin Traboulay (friend) on: Feb 14, 2016

  • Remembering my big brother from childhood as one who was very loving and caring. He taught me good values for life, introduced us to good music and books, good humor and above all, strong love and communication with each other. Our love for you will never die and we will always cherish the great family times together. May you rest in peace.
