• Hey Lady! Been a while. Not sure if you notice or not. You know you're always in my thoughts. It's been busy. Lots going on. Lots happened. You know how it goes. Another year gone by tomorrow. Wouldn't have made it on time this year but it would have been close. We're going to see Dad in a few days so we would have zipped into the city. I really like that this bulletin board stays up. I like to have a place to go that's close by to visit with you. The lapse in the visits doesn't mean I think of you any less... I just talk to you in other ways. I hope you hear that as well as this. • Hey Lady! Its been a while. Its been a crazy busy summer. Lots of trips, lots of adventures, lots of fun. The world is still crazy and it still looks like it will come off the rails any day but reading through history, it seems powers that be have tried to keep the mass populace in a state of hysteria forever. This just seems different somehow, more serious. Sometimes it makes me glad you're not here for me to have to worry about. • As usual, its been really busy again. I do think about you all the time though. Still miss having you to talk to. So I have those conversations in my head... you still don't reply and that still sucks. Lol. Things are going well though so mostly I just want to tell you about that these days so that at least is an improvement! I was moving some wood the other day and saw hundreds of ladybugs tucked in there so I figure that just meant maybe you were keeping a closer eye on me than usual. • What an amazing, busy summer! Its been so great! So many amazing things! Walks, hikes, hot springs, wine tours, beach days, road trips. I haven't had a summer this happy and fun in years! Miss ya. You would have enjoyed some of it too. Not the caves or the zip lines... but other parts. My girl is amazing! Saw a cousin too. Her mom died and told her to look for coins on the ground like your ladybugs. She has a wine glass full of coins. Very cool. I just have wasps so far this year... so many wasps! Lol. • Just sitting around on a lazy Friday morning on days off. Actually not all that lazy as I've been pretty busy doing some cooking. I'm not even sure the exact date, but it was early/mid January last year. And today was another great day. I made a difference again today. It felt good. • I came to visit you today. Could you feel me there? Do you know when I visit? I didn't have much time but I sat beside you in the sun for a while. When I speak to you must I say the words aloud? Can you hear them in my head. Do you hear my thoughts? Do I need to say the words? I feel silly sitting there talking to myself. But I don't want you wondering what I'm thinking if you can't hear the words that I don't actually say. So I sat for a while and did both. There was no one around to hear me anyway. But mostly its easier to organize my thoughts inside my head. I prefer to think you can hear me when I speak to you inside my head. If you can then you know I do it quite often. • Maggie, I shall miss you. We had a lot in common in that we were cousins and nurses. We grew up on farms in Swan River milking cows and doing chores and while we did not necessarily love that, I believe it taught us some great life lessons about work and caring for others. I was fortunate to know some of your relatives from the other side and they were very nice people including Sherry, Glennis and aunt Ruth.
