CONSOLACION ALMONICIDO LAYCO Peacefully, on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Grace Hospital, Consolacion Layco passed away at the age of 82 years. Consolacion was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eduardo in 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elisa (Danny) Magarro (Annalisa and David), Edna Layco, Cristina (Romy) Garganza (Mark and Cindy) of Philippines, Noel (Alma) Layco (Michael and Erick), Emma (Jun) Lacap (Gerwin and Kristyn), Ester (Anthony) Alfonso (Colleen, Anika, Aaron) and Edwin Layco. Consolacion brothers are Conrado Almonicido and family of Philippines and Rogelio Almonicido and family of Philippines, nephew Faustino Hinagpis and family. She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends near and far. Lamay will be held between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00a.m. Thursday and Friday, March 3 and March 4 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, St. Edward the Confessor, 818 Arlington St. with Rev. Fr. Rainerio Sarce presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, and a gathering of family and friends will take place in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
