Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELARD (ED) LAROCQUE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Adelard (Ed) Larocque on February 27, 2016 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Adelard was the youngest son of Victor and Alice Larocque, born on April 13, 1936 in Richer Manitoba. He was predeceased by his wife Louise, son Robert (Bert), and grandson Lawrence (Larry). He leaves to mourn his 3 surviving children, Donald (Maria), Susanne (Walter) and Denise, his grandchildren, Joan (Des), Chris (Paula), Nicole, Colette (Roger), Michelle, Marc, Walter (Carly), Colleen (Colby) and Sarah (Joel) and his great-grandchildren Cooper, Levi, Zenna, Ryker and Blakeley. With his infectious personality, Adelard made friends everywhere he went. He was in the trucking industry until he retired at the age of 61. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his grandchildren where special memories were made. Later in life his passion became bingo at the Club Regent Casino. We would like to thank his companion of 25 years, Ginette Cormier for all her devotion, care and dedication she has given to dad. She had a special place in his heart. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Adelard to Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 47 Squire Bakers Lane, Markham, Ontario, L3P 3G8. He will have a few angels waiting for him. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

It's sad to see such an approachable person gone. Your late son was like an uncle to me and your grandkids like cousins. Our families enjoyed good times at the Festival, hanging out at the house, going out to eat and our times at Club Regent playing bingo. You will be missed but memories won't be lost. - Posted by: May Hupe (Family Friend) on: Mar 02, 2016
