Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERIC BIRD (STARR) June 16, 1984 - February 23, 2016 With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, husband, brother, nephew, grandson and friend, Eric Russell Clarence Bird (Starr). He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Carly and children, Kaden, Summer and expectant child. Also, his parents, Rhonda Starr and Cyril (stepmother Michelle) Bird; and his brothers and sisters: Kali (Monty), J.D., Darren (Jesse), Nicole (Chris), Marrissa, Vanessa, Tabitha, Tanya and Tamara. Grandparents: Russell (Frances) Starr, Evelyn Ross, Clarence Bird, Sr., Stella Peebles; great-grandmother Freda Peebles, as well as numerous uncles, aunties and relatives. Eric was predeceased by his son Rishon Diamond Starr. Wake service will be held at the Black River Band Hall on Saturday, March 5, 2016 to Monday, March 7, 2016. Last viewing will be at the church. Funeral will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Black River Anglican Church with Richard and Nancy Bruyere officiating. Pallbearers will be: Joey Everette, Matt Montour, Mark Montour, Curtis Bird, Justin Starr, Darren Bird, Brennan Bird, Brennan Lamirande. Honorary pallbearers are everyone in attendance. Rhonda and family appreciate all the support and prayers through this difficult time. The Bird and Starr families also really appreciate the prayers, hugs, messages and support shown to us. Eric worked for our company for a short time several years ago until he was obliged to leave for medical reasons. He was a bright, capable young man who worked hard and was keen to succeed.
