BONNIE LAURA BALSILLIE October 1, 1956 - March 7, 2016 It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our best friend, partner, sister and mother, the amazing Bonnie B. Bonnie is survived by her children, Alexander and Amber; fur-babies, Petey and Chase; partner, William; sister and nephew Colleen and Ryan; nephews, Justice and Carmine; brother, Robert; as well as aunts, cousins and family in Alberta and across Canada and the US. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Bonnie is predeceased by younger brother, Arthur; mother, Alice; father, John who patiently waited to usher her into the gates of Paradise, albeit too soon on our end. Bonnie has always given those around her an unbelievable amount of nurturing, unwavering support, unconditional love, encouragement and strength. Whether pushing her children to succeed and explore life, to giving anything she could to those who were in need. Bonnie worked her fingers to the bone to be able to support her family and made it look easy. She beamed with immense pride and joy for her children, Alexander, Amber, Petey and Chase. Bonnie sacrificed without complaint in order to help them grow and experience life with bravery and heart. She taught everyone around her to be their most authentic self. She empowered us to be fearless and bold with our voices and gave us the confidence to challenge the things that don't feel right whenever they were encountered. A Celebration of Life will be held the first day of Spring, Sunday March 20 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bronx Park Community Centre, 720 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB., Multi Purpose Room. Bonnie took great pride in gardening. The family ask that you bring a small flowering plant for the garden. Please email inquires to bonniecelebrationoflife@gmail.com. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.mosaicfunerals.ca 1839 Inkster Blvd. 1006 Nairn Ave. 204-275-5555
