Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGETTE THOMSON (DECRU) Suddenly on March 6, 2016 at Concordia Hospital, Georgette Thomson passed away at the age of 80 years. Georgette was predeceased by her husband Joe in 2008. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lori and son Rob; grandchildren David, Trevor (Ana), Matthew (Marlee) and Julianna; great-grandchildren Abigail and Carter; Margaret Lofvendahl, Bernice Peichl, Andrew Decru, their families, and brother-in-law Bill of B.C. Georgette was born, raised and lived in Winnipeg (Transcona since 1964). She worked for Friendly Family Farms (Winnipeg Office) for many years. As a parent she was the baseball scorekeeper. In her retirement years she would attend most of her grandchildren's basketball and hockey. She was active in seniors floor curling and lawn bowling. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in memory of Georgette to a charity of your choice.
